Sufjan Stevens- I Walked

The latest album from Sufjan Stevens, Age of Adz, is out and there is another FREE track! "I Walked", is another song that shows the more technologic sounds he's used on this album. Its a really good song and his voice is still just as beautiful.

You can listen to the full album track by track on his Bandcamp. There are a few tracks that made me really fall for it. The whole thing is only $8 for download. Its definitely different from his other records, but its a great one.

Hello December

Well, December is officially here and along with her came the snow, freezing temps, chattering teeth, and Christmas music.
As I was driving to work today I had mixed feelings about the weather. I don't like the cold, but snow is so beautiful. To get myself in the holiday spirit I played my favorite Sigur Ros album, Takk...
It got me in the mood to sit by the fire and knit a scarf. For the past few years I have made this album my official Christmas/month of December fall asleep to music. Its so beautiful and soothing.

The pics above were just some I found to help put you all in the mood for winter. Hello December.

Lanvin for H&M - Fall Winter 2010/2011 Full Fashion Show (Exclusive)

H&M finally reviled the looks that will be sold when Lanvin for H&M hits stores on November 23rd. I like the unique way they decided to show the looks in this video....creepy, but pretty. I especially love the last dress shown (pink with floral print and ruffles), but all the black dresses are on my list as well.

In case your wondering the price points the line will range from $9.95 for tights to $349 for a coat. There are cheetah print shoes for $99, zebra print coats for $199, and lots of cute puffy shoulder dresses for your night out on the town.

If you have to ask....you can't afford it.

Halloween?

Not sure if I want to be Prince or Vanity from Vanity 6 for Halloween....what do you think?

Got it!

Earn and I recently bought Dead Rising 2 and I must say its a lot of fun! The game is a lot bigger than either of us expected and almost reminds me of Grand Theft Auto, but with zombies of course. There are thousands of zombies, which can get pretty annoying when you are trying to complete a mission and you have the living dead groaning and trying to claw at you haha!

One plus is the mini games in the arena where you can play against other PS3 heads online and win cash you can use in the game. The one kind of annoying thing about it is the constant loading screen that comes up whenever you change locations, but I understand it has to do that with all the zombies and extra stuff going on all at once.

Almost anything in the game can be a weapon and if you like seeing the blood and guts of the zombies, you will love this. I personally like using the spiked bat and the umbrella, which comes in really handy when running through a crowd of zombies. The sword is another contender for best weapon.

The main character, Chuck Greene, is an ex-motocross rider so its nice that they incorporated riding the bike into the game. The one downside to that is you cant take your bike out of the Plaza. Another downside to the large map is that he cant really run. You can level up and get faster, but there is no button or action for sprinting. It would really help give the player more time to complete all the missions before the time is up.

I have to repeat it is a really fun game! I would recommend you buy it.

Bamboocycle!

We all know the strength and beauty associated with bamboo, but did you ever think about using it to make a bicycle? Unless your one of my crazy obsessed bike friends *Cough Cough*....you know who you are....then probably not. This great piece of work is the idea of 24-year-old Mexican industrial designer Diego Cardenas. The Bamboocycle UH-02 bike, is eco-friendly by integrating bamboo into the frames design. If bikes weren't already environmentally sustainable, well they are now. For those of you who are interested in reading more about these amazing bikes, heres a link to their website.

Sufjan Stevens

<a href="http://sufjanstevens.bandcamp.com/track/too-much">Too Much by Sufjan Stevens</a>

I recently started listening to Sufjan Stevens, "Come On Feel the Illinoise", again. Which led me to searching for anything new he had. I came across his band camp page and saw this post for a free MP3 of his new single "Too Much", off his new album "The Age of Adz" (pronounced odds). Its going to be his first full length album of original songs since the "Illinoise" album. This song is really different from his other projects, so it will be interesting to hear the rest of the tracks when the album comes out. Download it, turn it up, and enjoy!

Crysis 2 'The Wall' Trailer [HD]

Another great game is coming to XBOX and PS3 platforms this November! "Crysis" was a PC game first and now "Crysis 2" is going to be available for all gamers. I had never heard of it before this, but Earn filled me in on it and showed me this trailer and I was immediately excited! The trailer looks so creepy and the girl singing the song just adds to the creepy-ness. Hopefully I wont be too afraid to play this one alone haha! Aliens, a full high-tech body suit, and great gameplay quality...amazing!

So What?

I usually don't care about what tasteless people think, but I ran across this pic of Kanye West in a nice outfit carrying a gorgeous bag on MediaTakeOut (In the pic you can see the dumb comments they were making) and all they could say was he's gay because of it! First off so what if he's gay....second I happen to think the bangles and purse (actually the whole outfit) make him more attractive. I guess I just like men with a sense of fashion and taste. I hope you all agree with me.
