Jimmy Choo For H&M

One of the biggest shoe designers in the world is teaming up with H&M. Jimmy Choo will be releasing a shoe, hand bag, and clothing collection with H&M. It seemed that they were trying to keep the pictures of the designs under wraps, but ever since they announced the collaboration in June of this year, the pictures have been leaking onto the internet. The collection will be available on November 14, 2009 in about 200 stores around the world.

Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2010

At Paris Fashion Week this month, Jean Paul Gaultier unveiled his spring 2010 ready-to-wear line. It almost looks like a combination of urban street wear mixed with gothic, S&M, and 80s inspired fashion. I like that he had tattoos of his name on some of the models and the mixture of different colors and textures. The neutral colors give a rest to the eye as it went from neon to neutrals and denims. I am definitely a fan of the more sheer and neutral designs of this line.

The Lake & Stars

Maayan Zilberman and Nikki Dekker (pictured above) are the designers of this beautiful lingerie line. These classy yet sexy pieces are perfect for turning any mans head or to just feel good in. "The Lake and Stars intimates balance provocation and humor, intelligence and sensuality, for a new vision of feminine style." according to the website. I like to call it intimates with style. The pieces pictured above are from their fall/winter 09 collection, but to see more of their older collections you can check out their website: http://www.thelakeandstars.com/index.htm

In The Words Of Juvi "I Need It IN My Life"

Jinyoung Jo, a talented car designer at Hong-ik University in South Korea, has created the Chanel Fiole concept car, (The Dopest Concept Car I Have Seen Thus Far Might I Add) branded with the name of the famed French luxury goods firm. The design is "centered on simplicity of lines" and a classic black and white color scheme in the best tradition of Coco Chanel and her tailored suits. The ultra-aerodynamic coupe features Chanel's famed interlocking C's on the front grille and has three seats. It's not an altogether far-fetched idea given that Chanel kingpin Karl Lagerfeld is something of a car nut (he has three Hummers) and recently designed a Chanel version of the Segway. This is unlike the Chanel brand but sometimes you have to step out of the box to make people go wow!

Manolo Blahnik's

Manolo Blahnik's are key to any woman's shoe collection.
These 2 pairs caught my eye, my feet would be more than happy to rock these!
The top pair are called Mogba; the studded x-band straps make these booties stand out.
The bottom pair are Ankle-Cuff d'Orsay's that come in black and brown nappa leather.
The Mogba's are available at Barneys New York and go for $1,025.
The d'Orsay's are sold at Bergdorf Goodman for $945.
But....If you have to ask the price you cant afford it.

Blended Nation

With Obama as President of the US its the perfect time to get this book.
Written by Mike Tauber and his wife Pamela Singh "Blended Nation" is a part photography and part interview book. As a person of mixed race I think its about time someone did a project like this. I definitely want to read this book and see what kind of experiences people across this nation have had.
If your into photography and you like reading about different cultures this is a book to get.

"The French say Champagne should be drunk straight from a beautiful lady's slipper"

If She Is That Fine Drink The Champagne From Her Shoe and That Will Impress Her!
(You Don't Have To With This)
Since we are Champagne High this had to be posted
Remember in the old black and white movies where the guy that is suppose to be the player would take the girls shoe and drink from it.
Well you can do this now out of a crystal heel and not have to worry about the stinch of her feet "LoL"
The box set was inspired by a ritual where  Man showed a women he adored her by drinking champagne from her shoe, from the 1880’s and will be exclusively available through colette from October 26th.

Alice In Wonderland

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton team up once again for this, what looks to be amazing, Disney remake. Maybe I am biased, but I will see pretty much any movie that Johnny Depp is in. On top of that Tim Burton has a crazy creative mind when it comes to visuals in his movies, so I expect that his version of "Alice In Wonderland" will be stunning! I am also excited to see Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. Its not going to be released until March 5, 2010 and its already getting a lot of buzz. Its no surprise that people are getting excited about this movie, with an all star cast like that.
Besides, you'd be crazy not to want to see Johnny Depp in IMAX 3D!
